Colorado is one of America’s outdoor wonderlands. From lush evergreen forests, alpine lakes, and stunning mountain peaks to rivers nestled in spectacular canyons and arid red rock desert ecosystems, Colorado offers something for every group. Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides actively promotes stewardship of our great natural resources and supports proper land management. We are one of a select group of official concessionaires for Rocky Mountain National Park, are a permitted guiding company along the Upper Colorado River, and hold 14 land manager permits across the state. With our intimate, local, and tested understanding of trails, routes, fishing holes, breathtaking vistas, and more, we will find the perfect spot for your group’s event. We love nothing more than showing off our beautiful home state and creating unique and unforgettable Colorado experiences.

 

Colorado Wilderness Corporate and Teams, part of the Colorado Wilderness Brands (including Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides) has more than 14 land managers permits with Federal (National Park Service, National Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management), State (Colorado Parks and Wildlife, State of Colorado, State of Utah), and local (City of Estes Park, City of Denver, City of Boulder, City of Park City, City of Westminster and more) land mangers permits and state licenses to offer unique and custom outdoor corporate teambuilding events and leadership development programs.

 

In the last 7 years, we have designed, implemented, and facilitated more that 500 events (including being a supplier for Boulder Google, Oracle, and Medtronic) that have included groups tours, corporate teambuilding events, leadership development / executive development events, corporate health and wellness events, corporate community impact (aka volunteer) projects, and merger and acquisition or re-branding events. We have more than 100 different options. All options can be customized and designed for your corporate group, organization or team. As each person is unique and thus each group, our goal is to work with your organization to create an event that meets your personal goals and objectives.

Aurora, Colorado

Breckenridge, Colorado

The town of Breckenridge is one of the most loved ski resorts in North America and one of our favorite team-building locations. Originally starting as a gold mining town during the Pikes Peak Gold Rush, Breckenridge made its fortune on gold and mineral mining, becoming a key town in Summit County, then part of the Utah Territory. The famed ski resort opened in 1961 and quickly became known for its five peaks spread across the Tenmile Range, as well for its variety of summer activities including hiking and mountain biking trails.

Colorado Springs is the state’s second-most populous city, set just over an hour south of Denver. Copper Mountain, Colorado

The Copper Mountain ski resort first opened its slopes in 1972 and by 1976 was primed for hosting the Alpine Skiing World Cup. Copper Mountain is one of Colorado’s favorite ski resorts surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery and is in a class of its own compared to the other Summit County ski resorts. The mountain features over 140 runs including side-country access and a thrilling back bowl, which includes SnowCat Skiing operations. Keystone, Colorado

The town and resort of Keystone covers three mountains, as well as several back bowls perfect for powder skiing. It is a wonderful place for a Colorado Wilderness Corporate and Teams Keystone Team Building experience. The resort is open for winter and summer activities, with skiing, snowboarding, and sledding open throughout the colder months, and hiking, biking, fishing, paddle boarding, trail running, and golf are widespread throughout the summer. Keystone Ski Resort features a wide variety of terrain on its front and backside including wonderful skiing for beginner, intermediate, and hard-chargers. Hike to the top of Keystone Peak and drop in from the top or take the SNOWCAT to the top and do laps off the highest point on the mountain. It’s also one of the few resorts to offer night skiing with the runs lasting from sunset to as late as 9 PM.

In the summer, Keystone becomes a world-class mountain biking park with miles of wooded trails and thrilling riding throughout the resort. Some of the more advanced trails feature jumps, tables, and berms as well as thin downhill trails and tight corners.

Just an hour north of Boulder, the city of Loveland is a fast upcoming, bohemian town, with an artistic and culinary flair of breweries, inventive eateries, and art galleries. A small city with a big heart, Loveland fills its main streets with eclectic design, promoting itself as a bastion of uniqueness in Northern Colorado. For those who are looking for something quirky away from the bustling metropolises of Boulder, Denver, and Ft. Collins, our Loveland Team Building activities offer a very escapist vibe with the main street feel.

Loveland Colorado has been previously named one of America’s Best Places to Live, with a sculpture festival in August, and a friendly commune for artists. Urban Scavenger Hunt: Solve riddles in order to navigate our course designed to introduce participants to unique and beautiful Loveland, Colorado (historical, cultural, and geographical treasures). The goal is to solve the list of riddles and find the hidden local treasures. Your mental capacities will be challenged in working through the event to achieve a common and humorous goal.

Park City, Utah

Originally built as a mining colony in the mid-19th Century, Park City is now not only a world-class ski resort but also one of the world’s cultural centers as the host of the Sundance Film Festival. While the town enjoyed a short boom, it nearly collapsed after the war, before the ski resort opened in 1963, turning Park City into a major North American ski destination. When you think of some of the world’s most iconic and well-loved ski towns, Vail is nearly unanimous with legend status. Winter Park, Colorado

Winter Park is one of Colorado’s most loved ski resort cities, with approximately six months of snow a year, followed by a summer season of biking, whitewater, running, hiking, and climbing opportunities.
